About
Dr. Arvidson is an exceptionally accomplished periodontist specializing in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery. Her educational achievements include a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Seattle University and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Arvidson also completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in the Air Force. She then went on to complete her periodontal residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Her passion for knowledge and contribution to the field of Periodontology is evident in her research work, for which she participated the Balint Orban Memorial Award Competition and awarded Honorable Mention in the John F. Prichard Prize for Graduate Research Competition. Her research has been presented at the American Academy of Periodontology, and her surgical skills have been featured in the textbook, "Periodontics: Medicine, Surgery, and Implants" by Louis F. Rose and Brian L. Mealey

Dr. Arvidson served as the Director of Periodontics for the 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program at Joint Base San Antonio as well as an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and Associate Professor of Periodontics for the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences while serving in the United States Air Force.
